True Crime Comics #2 (Magazine Village, 1947) Condition: GD+. First issue of the title. Cover and art by Jack Cole. Hypodermic needle and injury-to-eye panels. Includes classic drug propaganda story "Murder, Morphine, and Me", cited by New York legislative commission. Used in Seduction of the Innocent: "Dragging living people to death." Currently #7 on Overstreet's Top Ten Crime Comics list. There is spine damage, staple tears, a 1.25" spine split at the top, missing pieces from the top and bottom of the spine, staining, and soiling. Overstreet 2024 GD 2.0 value = $300.
