Description

Frank Willard Moon Mullins Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 5 (News Syndicate Co., 1944-45). A rich concentration of one of the comics' funniest roughhousing features. In addition to the usual shenanigans featuring boozy Uncle Willie Mullins, his boisterous wife, Mamie, Moonshine Mullins himself, and the Plushbottoms, a supporting goofball named Elmo Dullard accounts for much of the humor in this fine batch. The dates are 6-7-44, 11-30-44, 5-15-45, 8-24-45, and 10-17-45. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 20" x 6". Varied toning. Very Good to Excellent condition.
