Description
Lion King Family Preliminary Illustration (Walt Disney, 1994). This fantastic original graphite drawing was used to produce the free art print give-away and the center pages of the Lion King Premier Booklet for the initial release of this fan-favorite feature film. The booklet was sold in many cities at the premier release. New York City's premier was at Radio City Music Hall. This original art is from the hand of master Disney artist, Chris Dellorco. He signed the drawing in the bottom right corner. The preliminary drawing has an image area of 24" x 10" that includes almost every principal character... Simba, Mufasa, Timon and Pumbaa, Scar, Rafiki, and Nala, among others. There are 13 characters in all! Produced on a pan sheet of animation paper measuring 25" x 19.5".
