Description

Fleischer Studios Mouth Action Chart and Printed Model Sheet Group (Max Fleischer, c. 1930s). Two unique pieces of Fleischer Studios memorabilia, including a "Mouth Action Chart" for use by Fleischer animators in drawing the six most common lip movements for speech. (That muzzle looks like it could belong to an early Bimbo!) The chart has been covered with a clear piece of acetate, attached with black tape. The second item is a printed model sheet of two allegorical characters, showing each in a variety of poses and expressions. One is a rich businessman (evidenced by his having a dollar sign for a body). The next, looks like a version of the stereotypical Frenchman -- complete with pencil mustache, beret, and ascot tie! Fine condition.
