Description
José Luis García-López - Catwoman Illustration Original Art (DC, c. 1992). One of the greatest of the "unsung heroes" of DC Comics, José Luis García-López supplied much of the Style Guide art as well as the Licensing model art for the company for several decades. This piece is from the era of the 1992 Batman Returns movie. Rendered in ink over graphite on 17.5" x 11.5" Duotone board. The far background is fully detailed in pure graphite (but un-inked) and features a figure of Batman swinging through the sky. None of the Duotone board seems to have been activated. (Possibly intended for the background effect and unused.) In Excellent condition.More information about José Luis García-López.
