Description
Young Rough Riders Weekly #39 Poster (Street and Smith, c. 1905). Young Edgar "Mile High" Church was a big fan of "dime novels" featuring adventure stories, and was partially inspired to become an artist by their colorful cover illustrations. Here's an original newsstand poster advertising for a then-current issue that was found among Church's art files. It measures approximately 14" x 21" and is in Very Good condition with several fold lines. From the Chuck Rozanski Collection.Auction Info
