Henry Patrick Riley Harper's Bazaar Illustration Original Art (Hearst Corp., 1924). Raleigh, a natural draftsman in the manner of F.R. Gruger and Wallace Morgan, was a prolific favorite among the major publishers during the glory days of American Illustration (1900-1930). This vivid and comical drawing depicts an awkward moment at a dainty tea party. Graphite and wash-colors on illustration board. Image area, 18" x 13".
