Description

George Woodbridge MAD Magazine #208 Original Art Illustration (EC, 1979). This smart caricature of Rosalynn and President Jimmy Carter belongs (technically speaking) with a story called "The Carterbury Tales," in MAD #206. Readers Jonathan and Helene Blackwell requested an addition parodying the First Lady, and Woodbridge and writer Lou Silverstone were only too happy to oblige. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with rubylith overlay. Image area, 6.75" x 7.25". Faint toning. Excellent condition.
