Silver's mastery of romantic imagery is on full view in this large-scale painting from his span as a leading magazine-and-advertising artist. The paint shows light scuffing on the man's face, but the detailing otherwise is vivid. Opaque watercolor on Whatman Watercolor board. Image area, 14" x 14".
