Action Comics #13 (DC, 1939) Condition: Incomplete. Early Superman cover appearance (his fourth). Last Scoop Scanlon story. Contents include a nice, double-page color ad for Superman #1. Artists include Joe Shuster and Bernard Baily. Currently ranked #70 in Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. A rare book in any condition -- Gerber rates it a "6" -- this is the closest to a complete copy Heritage has ever had the chance to offer. Cover and centerfold missing, replaced with photocopies.
