Description
Gene Colan and Steve Leialoha Howard the Duck #9 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1976). Howard and Beverly are featured in a scandalous photo on the cover story of the Daily Bugle, spelling out the end of his political career. The sinister hands of Le Beaver, in his only appearance, holds the paper as the villain celebrates taking down the duck. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.5" (including the indicia and top banner paste-up stats). The page is toned with whiteout marks. The text on the newspaper is all stat paste-ups. Small tear on the top margin and adhesive residue on top and bottom margins. In Very Good condition.More information about Gene Colan.
