Description
Joe Kubert Tales of the Green Berets Daily Comic Strip Original Art (Newspaper Enterprise Association, 1965). A splendid example of cinematic thrust and dynamic design by Joe Kubert, one of the great page designers of the Golden Age/Silver Age comic books. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board, the image area measures 16" x 5.25". With light toning, light smudges, minor wear to corners, light spot stain on the bottom right corner of the last panel, fold crease on the left margin, and the title and credits are photocopy paste-ups.
