Mickey's Rival Minnie Mouse and Mortimer Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1936). Mickey Mouse is getting ready for a picnic with his girlfriend, Minnie, just the two of them. But then, another taller, slimmer mouse named Mortimer drives up in a sleek sportscar. Mortimer Mouse is one of Minnie's old friends who is also the rival of Mickey. Mortimer starts to make fun of his short rival making Mickey jealous. In this lot are two superb animation drawings from Mickey's Rival. The first drawing shows Minnie being entertained by Mortimer. This piece is noted as number 55-A in the bottom right. The second image features Mortimer looking suave and dapper and noted as number 34-C in the bottom right. Both pieces were rendered in graphite on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. Mild handling wear. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
