Description

George Metzger "Mal-Ig" Page 13 Original Art (1969).
Final densely-packed page from this legendary wordless Underground Comix science-fiction story, originally serialized in Gothic Blimp Works, and then collected in Bill Spicer's Graphic Story Magazine #13. The story ends just as mysteriously as it began, with great EC-inspired art by George Metzger. All the artwork to this groundbreaking story has remained with Mr. Metzger all these years, and this page is fresh to the market. Art is in ink over blue pencil with Zipatone shading film and whiteout on a piece of 17" x 23" illustration board; image size is approximately 15" x 21". Condition is Very Good, with handling/edge wear and mild toning.
