Description
George Wunder Terry and the Pirates Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-2-61 (Chicago Tribune, 1961). Check out that gorgeous last panel! This Sunday was produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board for a vertical format, then each panel was trimmed out and reconfigured in a horizontal layout, on a piece of Bristol board, for a landscape format. The new combined image area is 27" x 18". The art and page are tanned, there is a bit of water rippling to the support board. The logo is a paper paste-up.
