Description
George Wunder Terry and the Pirates Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 4 (News Syndicate Co., Inc., 1954). This batch of dailies places Wunder five years along on the job, confident in his unique combination of cartooning and detailed illustrative realism. The dates (all 1954) are 11-8, 11-9, 10-20, and 12-6. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image areas of 22" x 6.75". Notable age-toning, dust shadows along the edges, soft corner creases and bends, small pinholes, and marginal scuffing. Overall in Very Good condition.More information about George Wunder.
