Description

The Dudley Do-Right Show Nell, Horse, and Dudley Scene Cel (Jay Ward, c. 1970s-80s). An original hand-painted "Scene Cel" focusing on the long-running gag of Nell Fenwick, Inspector Fenwick's daughter and the object of desire for Dudley, showing her great affection for "Horse," Dudley's Mountie-dressed steed. Dudley, of course, looks on with obvious disgust and jealousy. A great, classic image from this fan-favorite animated series that began as a segment of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. Scene cels like these were originally created for and sold at the Dudley Do-Right Emporium on 8200 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles from 1971 up until 2005; actual 1960s production cels painted in Mexico were routinely destroyed. Image sizes are approximately 4.5", 6.5", and 5.75". Cel is trimmed to an overall size of 12" x 8". Very Good condition.
