Keith Birdsong Star Trek: The Next Generation #24 "Nightshade" Paperback Novel Cover Painting Original Art (Pocket Books, 1992). Worf and Counselor Troi are the central characters in this novel about a planetary scale civil war. The lovingly accurate depictions also feature some beautiful flowers... an important element as the planet's surface vegetation is almost gone. This stunning piece by Birdsong is produced in acrylic paint and color pencils on illustration board and was signed and dated by Birdsong in the lower part of the 28" x 38" image area.
