Description
Wayne Boring Superman #8139 Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-18-65 (Bell-McClure Syndicate, 1965). Jimmy, Clark, and Perry escape "The Fingergirl of Death", and that leaves Lois puzzled! Although the syndication note says 1964, episode #8139 was published in 1965. Produced by one of the greatest Superman artists of the 1950-60s, Wayne Borning, he even signed in script under the image area. The piece was produced in ink over graphite on CrafTint board with an image area of 17" x 4.75". The top left corner, into panel one, has a red stain on it. There is some whiteout art correction on Lois' face in panel two. Overall the page is in Very Good condition.More information about Wayne Boring. See also: Boring, Wayne Artist.
