Don Ivan Punchatz Historic Preservation Act Illustration Original Art (undated). Renowned for his spectacular art on the game box for Doom, as well as his many illustrations for National Geographic, Heavy Metal, National Lampoon, Playboy, and Time, Don Punchatz was presented with the Spectrum Grand Master Award in 1996. This detailed acrylic on board painting has an image area of 14" x 18", There is a small surface scrape/abrasion at the lower right, in the green lawn area under the figure's right foot and above the water; otherwise, in Very Good condition.
