Description

John M. Burns The Seekers Daily Comic Strip Original Art (undated). John M. Burns' crisp linework rivals that of Modesty Blaise artist Jim Holdaway in this daily (episode #Q125). The Seekers was John Burns' first major comic strip, and the concept of the strip somewhat resembles Modesty Blaise, which he was to draw later in his career. The main characters, Susanne Dove and Jacob Benedick, are two agents employed by Una Frost, director of Seekers, an agency specializing in tracking down missing persons. They are aided by Duffy, who supplies general support and contacts in the underworld. The art has an image area of 15" x 4.25" and it is in Excellent condition.
