Description
Jackson 5ive Jermaine, and Michael Jackson Production Cel Signed by Bob Balser (Rankin-Bass, 1972). A sweet two-cel setup with the brothers Jermaine, and Michael engaged in a deep conversation. Director Bob Balser (1927 - 2016) signed the piece in the lower center. Balser was the animating director on the groundbreaking Beatles animated feature film Yellow Submarine. After that project, he went on to work on this series. His influence can be seen in many episodes. This is a rare 12 field hand-painted production cel of Michael and Jermaine. The cels are placed over a copy/printed background for presentation purposes. Edge wear with tape and tape residue in the borders. Good condition.Auction Info
