Description
Disneyland - Concert Grand Xylophone Toy with Box (Walt Disney/Tudor, c. 1950s-1960s). This rare tin litho glockenspiel toy is an actual working xylophone with 12 white metal keys, each marked with its corresponding note going from low C to high G. Size is 18" long by 6" wide (at its widest point) by 5.5" deep. The toy comes in its original die-cut box and includes a clip-on music stand, music booklet, and one mallet. A very cool item! Noted on both sides with a small Walt Disney Productions notice. The felt pads underneath the keys have some minor separation, but can all be aligned under the keys so each one is playable. Other than some light wear on the upper portion, the paint is remarkably clean with very little wear; booklet has some markings. Box condition is Good; toy condition is Very Good.From the Rummell Collection.
