Description

Disneyland - Circle-Vision 360° America the Beautiful Original Silk-Screened Park Attraction Poster (Walt Disney, c. 1967-1984). "See the pageantry and panorama of America the Beautiful," reads this spectacular hand-pulled silkscreen poster created for the America the Beautiful film, shown in the innovative Circle-Vision 360° attraction in Disneyland's Tomorrowland section. Circle-Vision is a film technique that uses nine cameras for nine big screens arranged in a circle. Famously, both the 11-lens camera, the 9-lens camera, and their projection systems were designed by longtime Disney animator and visual effects pioneer Ub Iwerks (1901 - 1971). Designed by Imagineer Ken Chapman, this poster is showcased on Page 113 of Danny Handke and Vanessa Hunt's book Poster Art of the Disney Parks. The rare piece is framed under Plexiglas with an overall frame size of 40" x 58". Frames are sold as-is. Well-preserved in the frame, the condition of this beautiful poster is Very Good.
From the Rummell Collection.
