Description

Pullet Surprise Foghorn Leghorn and Pete Puma Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1997). "Stand up, boy. Now what kind of chicken are you looking for?" asks Foghorn Leghorn to Pete Puma in this fun theatrical short. This is an outstanding, hand-painted production cel of both Foghorn Leghorn and Pete Puma. Frank Gorshin provided the voice for Foghorn, while Stan Freberg reprised his role of Pete Puma (Stan first voiced Pete Puma in 1952's Rabbit's Kin). This short was directed by Darrell Van Citters (with some writing and animation by him as well). It was produced by the great Chuck Jones, released theatrically on 3/26/97 with the feature animated film Cats Can't Dance. Images are large, measuring 7" and 8". The cel is hand-signed by Darrell Van Citters as well as by Chuck Jones (1912-2002). A Linda Jones seal is on the cel and her COA is on back of the frame. Matted with an opening of 12" x 9", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 21" x 17". Frame is sold as-is. Cel condition is Very Good.
