Description
Daffy Duck's Fantastic Island Speedy Gonzales Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1983). In this animated feature compilation film, a parody of the hit TV series Fantasy Island is used to frame classic Looney Tunes shorts. Daffy Duck assumes Mr. Roarke's role, and his diminutive assistant Tattoo is played by Speedy Gonzales. This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Speedy Gonzales from early in the film (Daffy and Speedy are stranded on an island, with nothing but coconuts to eat). The cel has a Warner Brothers seal and is hand-signed by animation legend, Mr. Friz Freleng, director of the film. This is a full-figure image of Speedy measuring 5". Cel is matted with an opening measuring 11" x 8", and framed with glare-free glass for an overall size of 17" x 15". Frame is sold as-is. Cel is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
