Description

Russian Roulette Wile E. Coyote Production Cel and Master Production Background (Warner Brothers, 1964). In Chuck Jones' book Chuck Amuck, he mentions the nine rules to make a Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoon. Rule six was "All action must be confined to the natural environment of the two characters -- the Southwest American Desert." This setup represents that rule very well: a rare 12 field hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Wile E. Coyote from this Robert McKimson-directed short, released to theaters on 7/31/65. You can see this image around the 5:50 mark, as Wile E. tries to avoid a boulder headed his way. The cel is on a 12 field, hand-painted, Master, production background. Great full-figure image of Wile E., with a size of 4". Matted with an opening of 12" x 9.5", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 21" x 8". Frame is sold as-is, cel and background condition is Very Good.
