Description
Bernie Wrightson Heavy Metal Magazine "Freak Show" Page 17 Original Art (Heavy Metal, c. 1982). The serialized and horrific story "Freak Show" was printed in Heavy Metal Magazine in 1982, and collected into one volume by Image Comics in 2006. Wrightson, the Master of the Macabre's linework is reminiscent of one of his artistic inspirations, EC horror comic great Graham Ingels. Ink over graphite on heavy illustration board with a twice-up scale image area of 13" x 17.5". Lightly toned -- heavier along the edges, corner and edge wear, some corner indentions and creasing, marginal hand-written notations of what text will go in the captions.
