Alex Raymond Rip Kirby Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-23-46 (King Features Syndicate, 1946). The example offered here demonstrates Raymond's complete mastery of his art. Ink over graphite (with blue shading) on Bristol board with an image area of 19.75" x 6". The strip is lightly toned, has a text paste-up correction in the last panel, marginal notes with handling wear. In Very Good condition.From the Bobby G. Murphy Collection.
