Mike Esposito Amazing Spider-Man #40 Cover Re-Creation Original Art (c. 2000s). Featuring the heroic Spider-Man standing victorious over his defeated arch-nemesis, the Green Goblin, this nicely-rendered illustration from Mike Esposito is an authentic reproduction of the original John Romita Sr. cover to Amazing Spider-Man #40. This piece may have been created as a try-out, commission, or portfolio piece; it is unrelated to the comic's original production. Ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an Image area measures 13.25" x 20.25". All cover logo, trade dressing, and the lower caption are paste-up photocopies.
