Description
C. C. Beck Captain Marvel Adventures #4 Cover Re-Creation Original Art (1975). The Big Red Cheese reprises one of his cover appearances from 1941's Captain Marvel Adventures #4, by the original artist, C.C. Beck. Beck defined the look and the attitude of Captain Marvel during the 1940s and reserved the right to revisit his signature character at every opportunity, but only on his own terms. Mixed media on thick illustration board with an image area of 11" x 15.25". Pinholes in the top corners, soft edge and corner wear, and faint toning. Signed in lower right and in Excellent condition.From the Pinnacle Hill Collection.
