Description

Antonio Prohías MAD #95 "Spy vs. Spy" Complete 1-Page Story Original Art (EC, 1965). For 26 years, Antonio Prohías turned Cold War paranoia into comic genius with one of MAD's longest-running features. Here, the ever-scheming White Spy flips the script, and the Black Spy's airplane, through a bit of sly sabotage and classic misdirection. Ink and screentone over graphite on two Bristol boards with image areas of 16.5" x 9.75" and 16.5" x 13". Slight toning, marginal staining, smudging, marginal production tape, labels, notes, and tape residue, whiteout corrections, corner creasing, and minor edge/handling wear. Signed by Prohías in the final panel. Overall, in Very Good condition.
