Gerald McCann Classics Illustrated #160 The Food of the Gods Cover Painting Original Art (Gilberton, 1961). The Food of the Gods was one of H. G. Wells' sillier tales, but it did warn of the dangers of unchecked science... ...and giant chickens. No, really. This wacky cover was created in oil on illustration board.
