Description
A Wild Hare Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny Limited Edition Cel by Chuck Jones 52/100 (Warner Brothers/Linda Jones Enterprises, 1982). An original hand-painted, limited edition cel based on an original Chuck Jones drawing of Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny, #52 in a limited edition of only 100 and dated August 1982. Elmer measures 7", and Bugs is 6". The cel is over a airbrushed background with handmade paper staging for presentation. With most of the production cels from theatrical shorts by Jones having been destroyed, the animator would stretch out famous scenes from his shorts and sell as limited edition cels. This was the 21st limited edition he released, and is considered very rare. A great Chuck Jones signature is featured near the lower edge. Very early Chuck Jones limited editions are scarce, and this one is in Fine condition.Auction Info
