Description
Clay Mann Heroes In Crisis #7 Unpublished Poison Ivy Cover Original Art (DC, 2019). When an image of this cover was leaked to the internet before publication, reactions on social media platforms were diverse and some really loud. The image was felt by many to be too graphic and/or give away an important plot point. The decision was made to not put the cover through the rest of the production process and it was replaced with one by Mitch Gerads. The Clay Mann piece was created in ink and marker over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 16". It is matted here with a solicitation page for the issue (colored differently than the leaked image) and they are Plexiglas front framed to 25" x 23".
