Bo Hampton Sneak Preview! Total Eclipse Promotional Comic Cover Miracleman Original Art (Eclipse, 1988). This was the cover for the 8-page black and white preview of Eclipse Comics' upcoming 5-issue mini-series that would be a cross-over event for several books in their line. No small task, as they published Airboy, Miracleman, The Prowler, Liberty Project, and Strike! (all present), along with Destroyer Duck, Tales of the Beanworld, and Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters! This cover image was created in ink and white paint over graphite on Bristol board, affixed to a larger sheet of Bristol board, with added elements to increase the image area to 10" x 13.5". The logo and top banner are photocopy paste-ups that have been colored and affixed. They are original to the board and were published on the cover. Signed and dated in the image area.
