Jungle Comics #1 (Fiction House, 1940) CGC VF+ 8.5 Cream to off-white pages. Gerber rates this first issue of the popular action series a "7" ("scarce") on on the Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books' Scarcity Index. It contains the origins and first appearances of Ka'a'nga and Wambi the Jungle Boy, both of whom went on to headline their own respective comic series. Lou Fine bondage cover. Please note that the CGC holder bears a CVA sticker denoting superior eye appeal for the assigned grade. To date, just two copies of #1 have been given higher grades by CGC. Overstreet 2023 VF 8.0 value = $4,935; VF/NM 9.0 value = $8,718. CGC census 5/24: 2 in 8.5, 4 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
