Description
John Byrne and Joe Rubinstein Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #9 Red Ghost and his Super-Apes Illustration Original Art (Marvel, 1983). Ivan Kragoff received his super powers by attempting to replicate the accident that caused the powers of the Fantastic Four. Abetted by his Cosmic Ray enhanced trained apes (a baboon, an orangutan, and a gorilla), this Cosmic powered Cold War quartet first appeared in Fantastic Four #13. These two illustrations were penciled by fan-favorite FF artist John Byrne, with inks by veteran FF inker Joe Rubinstein on 11" x 17" Marvel Bristol board. Signed by Byrne in the lower left.
