Description
Dave Berg MAD #99 Complete 4-Page Story "The Lighter Side of Moving" Original Art (EC, 1965). So attuned was Berg to the quirks and petty motivations of human behavior, that his home-and-family cartoons still ring true. These variations on a theme wring a wealth of ironic, sometimes embittered humor from the simple ideas of moving to a new neighborhood, adapting to a new school, intimidating one's new neighbors into sprucing up their properties, and so forth. A concentration of brilliance from a unique talent among the longtime creative ranks at MAD. Ink over graphite on illustration board. Image area, 16" x 22". Toned, with scattered adhesive residue and paste-up seams, and light/moderate handling wear. Very Good condition.More information about Dave Berg.
