Description
Geraldine Theatrical Movie Poster (Republic, 1953). Fresh off the overnight success of the record parody hit "St. George and the Dragonet," Stan Freberg was rushed to Hollywood make a movie capitalizing on his overnight success. This is his personal copy of the one sheet movie poster of the film Geraldine, released on December 16, 1953. Stan plays young Billy Weber. The movie also featured Jim Backus of Mr. Magoo fame. Stan Freberg is called out on the poster with the words, "Here's that 'Dragonet Man' ". The poster has handling wear with folds with some fold separation, but more importantly, this is the copy personally owned by Stan Freberg! Framed with glass for an overall size of 29" x 43".
