Pokémon Gyarados #6 First Edition Base Set Rare Hologram Trading Card (1999) PSA MINT 9. Featured in this superb high-grade first edition base set card is the water dragon Pokemon, Gyarados. This is an interesting Pokemon -- Gyarados is the evolved form of Magikarp, and the only move that Magikarp knows is Splash, which has no effect on any Pokemon -- arguably the weakest Pokemon. However, when Magikarp evolves, he turns into this powerful, aggressive, and terrifying Gyarados, whose power goes from 0 to 100 instantly. The artwork is by Mitsuhiro Arita.
