Description

Darick Robertson The Boys #20 Story Page 8 and Preliminary Original Art (Dynamite, 2008). Homelander's sadistic grin dominates the scene, relishing the revelation of standing on the very spot where he killed Butcher's wife. Robertson's expressive faces vividly capture Homelander's pleasure and Butcher's broken despair, both carrying a deep psychological weight and cynical edge. A dramatic page from the co-creator of the indie comic that inspired the wildly popular Amazon TV show. Rendered in ink and marker over blue pencil on Dynamite Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". This lot also includes a page of blue pencils for an alternate and unused version of the page. Signed by Robertson in the lower margin of both pages. In Excellent condition.
