Chuck Patton and Al Gordon The Official Teen Titans Index #1 Cover Original Art (ICG, 1985). Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Speedy, and Aqualad burst from the pages of this index issue in a striking cover featuring dynamic, full-body action poses of the Teen Titans. Released at the height of the team's popularity in the early to mid-1980s, when The New Teen Titans series by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez was captivating readers, this index tapped into the growing enthusiasm for the team. Reflecting the 1980s trend of meticulously cataloging comic book series, these indices provided fans and collectors with detailed synopses, writer and artist credits, character appearances, and story summaries. This issue dedicated its first 14 pages to in-depth profiles of 20 Teen Titans and featured a comprehensive index of The Brave and the Bold #54 and 60, Showcase #59, and Teen Titans #1-22. Rendered in ink over blue pencil and graphite on DC Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". Toning, screentone, smudging, whiteout touch-ups/corrections, small red stain in image area, moderate corner creasing, and handling wear.
