Description

Steve McNiven and Mark Morales Wizard: The Comics Magazine #157 Frank Miller Wolverine #1 Homage Cover Original Art (Wizard, 2004). One of the most famous images of the clawed Canadian mutant ever published -- Frank Miller's iconic cover to the first-ever Wolverine solo comic -- is faithfully re-created here by Civil War artist Steve McNiven. Now considered one of Wolverine's definitive illustrators, McNiven went on to depict some of the character's most consequential Modern Age stories, including Old Man Logan, Death of Wolverine, and Return of Wolverine. Rendered with ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25", the board has corner/edge wear and is accompanied by a copy of the published magazine. In Excellent condition.
