Description
Kieron Dwyer and Terry Austin Classic X-Men #19 Story Page 10 Original Art (Marvel, 1988). This outstanding all-Magneto page, inserted into the margins of the Claremont/Byrne classic "Showdown" from The X-Men #113, offers a rare and intimate glimpse of the Master of Magnetism as he momentarily steps away from tormenting the captive X-Men in his Antarctic subterranean base -- to shower and shave. Added between Pages 7 and 8 of the original story in the Classic X-Men reprint, the page maintains a visual throughline with the original creative team, as Terry Austin inked both this addition and the original issue. Rendered in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Blue pencil editorial marks, taped page number paste-up, slight toning, and light handling wear.
