Popular Comics #1 (Dell, 1936) CGC VG 4.0 Off-white pages. This was the very first Dell comic, and Gerber rates it a "7" or "scarce" on the Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books' Scarcity Index. The book contains the first comic appearance of Dick Tracy, with other appearances by comic strip greats Gasoline Alley, Orphan Annie, Tailspin Tommy, Mutt and Jeff, and Terry and The Pirates.
