An opening splash of Daredevil in his original costume (before adopting the two "D"s on his chest) from the fan-favorite miniseries focused on the early days of Matt Murdock becoming the feared crimefighter. Tim Sale provides the incredible art for the Jeph Loeb story -- the creative team behind many acclaimed series, including the Eisner award-winning Batman : The Long Halloween and Batman: Dark Victory. Ink and wash over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 14". Signed by Sale in the lower left image area and top right. Light rippling and in Excellent condition.
