Description
The Ren & Stimpy Show Ren Production Cel with Stimpy Animation Drawing (Nickelodeon, c. 1991-96). Grinning from ear to maniacal ear are Ren and Stimpy in this unique pair of a production cel and an animation drawing. Showcasing enough delight to holler "happy, happy, joy, joy!" Their self-named series premiered alongside Doug and Rugrats in 1991 and ran for five seasons with 52 episodes in total, following the psychotic chihuahua Ren and happy-go-lucky Manx cat Stimpy on their everyday adventures as astronauts, outlaws, firefighting dogs, and more. Ren measures a hand-painted image area of 2" x 4.25" on a 12 field cel. Then rendered in graphite and blue color pencil, Stimpy measures 2.75" x 2.5" on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper. The pair of production artwork feature production codes along the bottom edge and Ren's cel has a Nickelodeon studio seal in the upper right corner. With light studio handling wear, edge wear, and minor surface debris this lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
