Description

John Byrne and Ricardo Villamonte The X-Men #118 Story Page 7 Original Art (Marvel, 1979). Known for bringing cinematic scope and emotional depth to the X-Men, John Byrne's pages remain some of the most revered in the team's long history. This stealth-driven page finds the X-Men slipping through the shadows of the Yashida Manor. Storm weaves a veil of mist around Cyclops, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Banshee as they edge closer to their target. But just as silence seems to be their ally, Sunfire's blazing flare shatters the calm. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Lightly toned, stat page number (11, but Story Page 7), "Continued ..." stat paste-up in the lower margin, trimmed top corners, production tape on the right margin, blue pencil editorial marks, white paint touch-ups, and light handling wear. In Excellent condition.
