Alex Blum (attributed) Classics Illustrated #105 (HRN 141) - From the Earth to the Moon Cover Painting Original Art (Gilberton, 1957). A "space gun" blasts a manned-projectile to the stars in this painting created for the Classics Illustrated adaptation of the futuristic Jules Verne novel written in 1865. A stunning idea visualized on this vibrant piece created in gouache on illustration board with an image area of 10.5" x 15.75".
